Whether you're brand new to Thai massage or a longtime bodywork enthusiast, these are some of the most common questions I receive. If your question isn’t answered here, feel free to reach out—I’m always happy to help.
Thai Yoga Massage is a full-body, clothed modality rooted in ancient healing traditions. It blends deep compressions, stretching, rhythmic movement, and breathwork along energy lines (Sen) to unlock tension and bring the body back into balance. It’s done on a mat, not a table, and feels like a blend of massage, assisted yoga, and meditation.
It is perfect for the old and the young, the active and the less so. I could go on forever but really you must come experience it!
Not at all. You’re a passive participant—I'll support and move your body with care and intention. This practice is about ease, not acrobatics. We work within your range of motion and comfort at all times.
Thai massage uses the whole body—palms, thumbs, feet, elbows—to apply pressure, and it involves flowing movement and breath. It’s done on the floor with clothes on, and often feels more like a healing dance than a typical “get a massage and leave” session. It aims to help your whole system shift—not just your muscles.
Wear loose, comfortable clothing that allows for movement—think yoga pants, joggers, or stretchable cotton. You’ll usually remain clothed throughout the session.
Avoid heavy meals for 1–2 hours before your session. Come hydrated, with an open mind and body. If possible, leave time afterward to rest or take it slow—you might feel dreamy or open.
Many people feel deeply relaxed and light—like they just came home to their body. Others feel energized and refreshed. Mild soreness the next day is normal, especially if we worked through deeper tension. Drink water, move gently, and trust the process
Welcome to the wonderful world of bodywork!
Due to high call volumes I am currently asking everyone to leave a voicemail, text message or email and a response, if one is necessary, will be provided within 1-2 business days.
Massage is a complimentary healing practice. While very powerful in its own way it is no substitute for surgeries or medicines and massage therapists may not diagnose or prescribe treatment for injury, illness or disease of any kind in the state of Florida.
Bring it on! There are very few circumstances that completely make all forms of massage unadvisable. They exist and they are rare. From the Thai Massage Mat to the Massage Table or Massage Chair, the chances are very high we can find something to do together that will be therapeutic, I'm game if you are! Lets give it a shot!
At this moment Muscle & Flow is a one therapist show. I have partnered with other therapists in the past to offer these kinds of services and in time I may do so again. Currently I am seeing one client at a time.
I am not offering refunds of any kind at this time. There is no expiration date on purchased sessions however and massage makes a wonderful gift if you find yourself unable to use your prepaid sessions.
